I was sitting in the Hobbit Inn - my home bar and games room one evening, enjoying a few games of pool and drinks with family and friends, when the idea of a game that merged some of the best bar skill games came to me.

Being a fan of pool, cornhole and beer pong, the notion of combining them into a new fun, skilful and challenging game struck me like a lightning bolt.

I have enjoyed creating all sorts of things over the years and now own a laser cutter and 3D printer. Following weeks of research, designing, drafting, printing and testing, Flank was born.

A few months have gone by, and my friends and family enjoy playing Flank just as much as they enjoy playing pool and beer pong. Various tweaks to the rules have helped the game evolve into something I feel I want to share with the world.
